Domestic courier services

We offer a same-day, door-to-door, express service to all major cities and towns serviced by a scheduled airline. Our same-day express service is also offered within any major urban centre in South Africa. Telephonic proof of delivery is provided within 30 minutes of delivery.

Ensure your delivery arrives at its destination by 11:00 a.m. the following day using our overnight express courier service. This service is offered between all major urban centres in South Africa and within a 30-kilometre radius of these centres.

Need to get something to its destination before the start of the working day? In all major urban centres, early bird deliveries ensure that deliveries are made by 9:00 a.m.

Standard in-city deliveries are made the following morning by 11:00 a.m. Local same-day deliveries can also be made but are subject to an in-city surcharge.

Express service deliveries to major centres are available after hours, subject to a surcharge. The following times qualify as after hours:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• 12:00 noon Saturday to 6:00 a.m. Monday
• public holidays.

Domestic air freight deliveries are made within 24 to 36 hours – typically during the course of the following working day.

ACT Logistics offers express road freight, with deliveries made within 36 to 48 hours. Affordable, non-express domestic road freight is also available, with deliveries made within 48 to 96 hours.

If you need a dedicated vehicle in order to make sensitive or large deliveries, we can help. Our vehicles can handle loads from one to 32 tonnes.

Courier deliveries to very remote areas could take an additional 48 hours. Same-day, early bird and Saturday services are also available to remote areas by special arrangement, subject to a surcharge.
